PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Beautifully engraved certificate from the eMachines, Inc. This historic document was printed by the Banknote Corporation of America and has an ornate border around it with an underprint of a computer. This item has the printed signatures of the Company’s President ( Steven Dukker ).

The company's bargain PCs are designed for word processing, e-mail, and Web surfing. It sells its products through distributors and retailers such as Best Buy, Circuit City, and Office Depot. The company also sells products directly. eMachines saw early success as a pioneer seller of cut-rate PCs bundled with Internet service contracts, but it has struggled against larger PC makers with competitively priced products. Founded in 1998 by former CEO Steven Dukker, eMachines was acquired by director Lap Shun (John) Hui through a holding company and taken private in 2001.
