Sixth Avenue and I Street, Tacoma A leafy oasis just north of Tacoma's city center, historic Wright Park is laced with walking and jogging paths and shaded by a collection of more than 700 mature trees representing 100 species from around the world. The property for what is now Wright Park was donated to the City by Tacoma pioneer Charles B. Wright, President of the Tacoma Land Company, in 1886.
