Beautifully engraved certificate from the Fidelity Loan and Trust Company issued in 1893. This historic documentand has an ornate border around it with a vignette of a dog gurading a safe next to the company's logo. This item has the signatures of the Company's President, Joseph T. Engleby and Secretary and is over 116 years old.
Certificate Vignette Joseph T. Engleby, Sr.,was born on March 23, 1856 and died September 24, 1942. He also served as the assistant fire chief for city of Roanoke. He was a Republican and was a Presidential Elector for the state of Virginia in 1928.
