Many regular detergents claim to fight tough stains, but do they really get out the entire stain? The answer is no. However, new Purex® Advanced™ with Double Action™ cleans deeper than many regular detergents. Its Double Action formula doesn't just clean stains once, it cleans stains twice. Powerful surfactants lift surface dirt and stains from your clothes. Unique enzymes penetrate deeper into the fibers to help power away remaining traces of stains. Besides great stain removal and overall cleaning, Purex Advanced also has a great fragrance. Consumers preferred the Purex Advanced fragrance versus several other national brands in a national blind preference test. Great fragrance and powerful cleaning means great looking and smelling clothes you can be proud of. For many centuries, soap was primarily used for laundering. However, detergents have essentially replaced soap because they perform over a broad range of water hardness levels. Purex Corporation is now part of The Dial Corporation. Dial makes one of the US's best-selling soaps (Dial), and it has leading brands in each of its five core product segments -- personal care products (Dial, Breck, Tone), laundry products (Purex, Borateem, Sta-Flo), specialty body care (Sarah Michaels, Nature's Accents), air fresheners (Renuzit), and canned meats. (Its Armour-brand Vienna sausages are #1 in the US.) Dial's products are sold in more than 40 countries, with most of its foreign efforts focused on Argentina, Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico.
