Beautiful certificate from the Tonopah Belmont Development Company issued in 1930. This historic document was printed by American Banknote Company and has an ornate border around it with a vignette depicting miners setting up a drill underground, probably engraved from a photograph. This item has the signatures of the Company's President and Treasurer and is over 89 years old.
Certificate Vignette The Tonopah Belmont Development Company was founded by Tasker Oddie. The company was incorporated in New Jersey and they owned 162 acres adjoining the Montana Tonopah and Tonopah Mining properties. The company also held leases on property in British Columbia, the Bull Moose and Biddlecome mines near Carrara.
